Employment Opportunities
Why join the St Joseph’s College Catholic Learning community?
To work at St Joseph’s is to join a Committed, Compassionate, and Collaborative team whose task is to ‘challenge and empower students to be creative and critical thinkers who act with strength and kindliness in the Gospel tradition’.
Our College motto ‘Strength and Kindliness’ comes to life in each staff member as they demonstrate the strength to do their job well and the kindliness to undertake it with compassion.
As such, all staff members at St Joseph’s are committed to being open, honest and robust in exploring challenging and innovative possibilities that lead to school improvement.
We work hard to develop students not only academically but also physically, emotionally and morally. It is rewarding to observe these young adults moving on to the next phase of their lives as well-rounded individuals who possess the necessary skills to achieve goals and make good choices.
St Joseph’s College is constantly striving to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for the students entrusted to our care.
Our subject teachers are inspirational people, who plan for and implement programs to encourage and support students to learn and to grow in the various subject disciplines.
Our allied support staff are critical to the success of our educational programs by providing support to staff and students as well as vital stewardship of our resources.
Two goals of our current Strategic Plan are to:
- enable students to develop the independence and drive to be confident, engaged and self-disciplined learners
- build staff capacity focused on improving student outcomes and enhancing the experience of students
In short, we are keenly focused on bringing to fulfilment the individual gifts and talents of both our students, and our staff for everyone to achieve their personal best.
