Religious Education

The Religious Education curriculum seeks to develop the whole person in a supported environment that offers students the opportunity to examine the history of St. Joseph’s College by exploring our Brigidine history, the history of the Church and our House Patrons.

Throughout the courses, students complete a thorough analysis of the Bible and reflect on the person of Jesus, what it means to be an active participant in Mass and live out the importance of prayer in our daily lives.

An important focus of the Religious Education curriculum is to examine how to live a good life in the Gospel tradition and to make informed moral decisions. Students are also exposed to social justice themes and complete community service to be active witnesses in their community and to promote leadership skills.
