International Immersions
Past International Immersions

St Joseph's College has a long history of providing students with opportunities to travel internationally and immerse themselves in different cultures. Up close and personal educational experiences abroad help bring learning to life and create memories that last a lifetime! Other benefits for students include:

  • builds confidence and independence

  • builds a sense of identity and purpose

  • increases understanding of cultural differences

  • develops social skills

  • helps to discover academic and career interests, and

  • inspires broader thinking.

2024 - Greece/Italy

2025 - Singapore STEM study tour

2026 - Greece/Italy and UK Arts and Sports Tour

During these incredible immersions, our Year 10 & 11 students explored key cultural sites to expand their knowledge of ancient history, art, languages, food, religion, humanities, science and sport all while having fun with their friends in a safe and controlled environment.

2027 International Immersions

St Joseph’s College is thrilled to again offer two transformative international immersion experiences in 2027 focused at students who will be studying Year 10 & 11.

  • Greece and Italy - History and Culture

  • Singapore STEM - Sustainability

These unique programs provide students with opportunities to engage deeply with history, culture, and personal development, all while upholding the core values of Kildare Ministries and the College's commitment to compassion, respect and global citizenship. The first itinerary explores the ancient wonders of Greece and Italy, and the other immerses students in the cutting-edge sustainability innovations of Singapore. Both tours promise to be transformative experiences that extend learning far beyond the classroom.
