Past International Immersions
St Joseph's College has a long history of providing students with opportunities to travel internationally and immerse themselves in different cultures. Up close and personal educational experiences abroad help bring learning to life and create memories that last a lifetime! Other benefits for students include:

In 2024 our Year 10 & 11 students had the opportunity to travel to Greece and Italy. Over 14 days, students explored key cultural sites to expand their knowledge of ancient history, art, languages, food, religion and humanities, all while having fun with their friends in a safe and controlled environment during this once in a lifetime trip!
In April 2025, our Year 10 & 11 students travelled to Singapre for an unforgettable STEM study tour.

These unique programs provide students with opportunities to engage deeply with history, culture, and personal development, all while upholding the core values of Kildare Ministries and the College's commitment to compassion, respect and global citizenship.
Greece and Italy Cultural Immersion (September 2026)
The Greece and Italy Cultural Immersion invites students to step into the cradle of Western civilisation. From the timeless ruins of Athens to the grandeur of Rome, this experience offers an unparalleled exploration of history and culture. Students will connect with the ancient and modern legacies of these regions, fostering an appreciation for art, history and food.
UK Arts and Sport Tour
The UK Arts and Sport Tour builds on the success of our College’s Arts and Sports Academies, combining creativity and athleticism in an international context. Students will attend world-class art exhibitions, captivating theatrical performances in London’s West End, and iconic sporting events at renowned venues. This tour celebrates the synergy between artistic and athletic excellence, providing students with an inspiring opportunity to deepen their passions while exploring new horizons.
These programs continue the legacy of success established by previous immersions to Singapore and Greece/Italy, which offered students life-changing experiences and profound personal growth. Participants returned enriched by cultural connections and motivated to embody the College's mission and values.
Applications Open
Applications to apply for either International Immersion will open on Monday 19 May 2025 following the Parent Information Evening. The experiences are primarily open to students in Year 10 & 11 in 2026.

To apply, students must:

Complete the application form relevant to the specific tour they wish to participate in below.

Respond thoughtfully to the selection criteria included in the form.
Applications close Wednesday 28 May 2025.
*Please note: Student selection will be based on responses to the selection criteria, as well as a range of school data, including classroom behaviour, academic endeavour and overall suitability for the immersion experience.
