Partying for Project Compassion

St Joseph’s College Foundation Day is 22 March. After an enlightening liturgy, based on the College’s annual theme and celebrating an aspect of the College’s history, we hold our annual mini marts. All Learning Mentor groups host a stall, and all monies raised go to Project Compassion.

Food and Fun

Our mini mart stalls usually consist of food stalls offering wedges, hot dogs, tacos, ice cream, popcorn etc and a range of activities such as handball competition, karaoke, quoits and table tennis.

Fundraising for Caritas

It’s fantastic to see that even in this materialistic society, we are grateful for what we have. It also shows that we want to see other people thrive, and believe that every person, regardless of their situation or background, deserves to have the basic human rights to live.
